Mit Band 1 (Stone) aus seiner erfolgreichen S.T.A.R.S. Serie gelang es ihm, bei Amazon als Kategorie Bestseller (Action & Abenteuer) über ein Jahr lang an der Spitze zu stehen. Casey scheut sich nicht davor, Randthemen unserer Gesellschaft aufzugreifen, und in seinen Romanen zu behandeln.
Seine Inspiration holt er sich am liebsten in Kalifornien, Oregon oder Washington. Die Westküste der USA ist Caseys zweite große Liebe und Heimat.
